Eleven Two Rivers students competed all day in the regional Math Counts competition, held on February 3rd at the University of Hartford.

Mr. Smith, the Math Counts coach, reported that this was Two Rivers' best year ever, with eighth grader Haritha Subramanian advancing to the state finals and a great showing for several other students.

The regionals included 200 students, and of the top 50 student names released at this time, four of our Two Rivers students made the cut: Haritha Subrumanian (8th grade) came in 32nd; Ved Jannu (6th grade) came in 43rd; Grant Weaver (8th grade) came in 44th; and Mehana Nagarur (6th grade) came n 49th.

Also competing for Two Rivers were; Omar Batista (8th); Kurt McKinney (8th); Ola Taha (8th); Sophia Murrihy (7th); Shrikar Seshadri (7th);Noah Auden (6th);  and Alexander Mauldin (6th),
