CREC Interim Learning Plan

CREC is now supporting student learning through electronic media. It is our goal to engage every single student in meaningful learning, but this is all new to us and we cannot ensure that the technology will always work. We will do our best to work with you to make the most of this opportunity.

In the event that our learning platforms shut down during school hours, please wait and then try again later. They often correct themselves within a half hour. Here are some activities that students can do in the event that the platforms go down:

Watch a science video on tv, YouTube or BrainPop
Explore somewhere in the world on Google Earth or watch something on the History Channel
Google local museums and take a virtual tour
Sing or practice your instrument

Technology Assistance Form

Parents and students: If you have ANY problems with technology (Chromebook, internet access, etc.), please fill in and submit this form and we will assist you as soon as possible.

Schedules among schools will differ; here at 2 Rivers we are following our half day schedule which is listed below:

Classes meet Monday-Thursday, with staff meetings and PD on Fridays.

Block 2	8:35-9:05	30 minutes
Block 3	9:10-9:40	30 minutes
Block 4	9:50-10:20	30 minutes
Block 5	10:25-10:55	30 minutes
Block 6	11:00-11:30	30 minutes
Office Hours	12:00-2:30	2.5 Hours

Please note that "blocks" refer to the time slots- classes will rotate on our regular A-F schedule. Student schedules are available in their homeroom Schoology folders.

"Office Hours" is a block of time in which teachers are available for extra help. While students may work at their own pace, they will be asked to attend a "live" session at their scheduled class time periodically to engage in discussions as a class.
