Families enjoyed themselves at Two Rivers' annual STEM night. Student inventions were on display, as well as several hands on activities.
Students tried marshmallows dipped in liquid nitrogen, had hair raising experiences with a van de graaf generator and played a pac man game using wires & play do with student ambassadors from the UConn School of Engineering.
Other activities included displays of dinosaur bones, animal pelts and an extensive shell collection from a former Two Rivers Student. Live animal demonstrations were a big hit as well, with Two Rivers grads bringing their own collection of exotic insects.
Paper airplanes, tanagrams, kinnex building and healthy smoothies rounded out the activities for a fun filled night. Thanks to UConn Engineering and everyone who joined us!
